GW1 FPL Team Reveal – Aditya

Last updated on July 7th, 2021

Hello everyone,  This is Aditya, a fellow fantasy football manager. I started playing FPL 4 years ago and had an incredible last season in Fantasy Premier League and finished in the top 7K. That was my first finish in the top 100K and I really enjoyed the season. For this season,  I have joined Premier Fantasy Tools, one of the best free sites offering great content for FPL. I will be writing articles for each gameweek and will try my best to guide you through FPL. You can follow me (@FPLHunt) on Twitter. I will also post threads and much content there.

If you are new to FPL and can’t understand what the heck are we talking about, visit the attached link – https://www.fftitan.com/2021/06/fpl-guide-for-beginners/

The start of FPL is less than 40 days away from us and fantasy managers across the globe are feeling the heat. Here is an article on my draft team for the first gameweek.

Goalkeepers

1. Sanchez (£4.5)

2. Foster (£4.5) : {Benched}

I’m going with the £4.5 goalkeepers since they are the best bargain buys. Sanchez has got some really good fixtures in his first 8 GW with Foster also having great fixtures. I’m definitely gonna persist with them for at least 6-7 GW.

Other good options can be Meslier and Martinez. Both of them had an incredible season.

Defenders

1. Luke Shaw (£5.5)

2. Trent-Alexander Arnold (£7.5)

3. Vladimir Coufal (£5.0)

4. Wesley Fofana (£4.5)

5. Tariq Lamptey (£4.5) : {Benched}

Luke Shaw is in really good form heading into the PL and we will expect some great performances from him. TAA didn’t have a good start to the last season but finished it beautifully and he makes it into our team. Coufal has got some really good fixtures and is also cheaply priced. We also have 2 cheap bargains in the form of Fofana and Lamptey in our team to cover up the amount we are going to spend on midfielders.

Other good options can be Robertson and Cresswell. Both of them have good fixtures.

Midfielders

1. Mohammed Salah (£12.5)

2. Heung-Min Son (£10)

3. Bryan Mbeumo (£5.5)

4. Yves Bissouma (£4.5)

5. James Maddinson (£7) : {Benched}

Salah was in phenomenal form last time and scored 22 goals with 6 assists. He is the most essential member of our team. Son was also in good form last season and with the passing abilities of Harry Kane, we can expect a great season for him too. We have some bargain players in the form of Mbeumo and Bissouma as we will expect some good outcomes from them. Maddinson was looking in a golden touch last season with 8 goals, 7 assists and11 CS from him and we are taking him in our team as well.

Other good options: Bruno Fernandes and Kevin De Bruyne

Forwards

1. Ollie Watkins (£7.5)

2. Dominic-Calvert Lewin (£8)

3.Michail Antonio (£7.5) : {Benched}

DCL has a great set of fixtures to begin things off and also had a good season last time. This is the reason he has been picked by more than 28% of managers and we are too showing faith in him. Antonio too has a great set of fixtures and we are expecting some good performance from him. We are also having Watkins who had a great debut season and was looking strong with 14 goals and 9 assists.

Captain and Vice-Captain

We are going with Salah as our captain and Heung-Min Son as our vice-captain as of now.

My final team

So that was the article on Game-Week 1 draft from us. Hope you enjoyed this article. If you do, don’t forget to come back to this site next time.
