With big at the back not as efficient anymore and midfielder dilemmas piling up, we are closing towards the GW16 deadline. A lot of players were rested in the champions league and Mo being Mo, couldn’t stop scoring. The template is very much set and thus gaining rank can be quite difficult. In this article, we bring you 3 differential picks that can help you boost your rank.

Diogo Dalot (Man Utd – Defender – £4.4m) vs NOR (A)

The appointment of Ralf came as a blessing for Dalot, as he finally got the chance to prove himself. He has started the last 2 games and seems like he has cemented the right-back spot under Ralf’s 4-2-2-2 formation. He has been quite attacking so far and even came close to scoring from a low xG shot against Palace.

Under Ralf, Utd kept a clean sheet for the first time in 5 GWs and with the best possible fixture run coming for Utd, Dalot can be a good value pick and a cheap way into the Utd defense. The prospect of attacking returns along with a clean sheet makes him a good option for our FPL teams. His current ownership is 0.5%.

Harvey Barnes (Leicester – Midfielder – £6.5m) vs NEW (H)

Leicester has had a poor start to this season as they sit 10th in the Premier League table. They have been scoring goals almost every match but conceding too. Barnes in particular hasn’t had the best of starts to the season but has been improving lately. In the last 3 GWs, he has scored a goal and assisted one.

In the last 6 GWs, Barnes has 13 goal attempts, 11 shots inside the box, 2 big chances, and 9 shots on target. He plays a defensively poor Newcastle side who have conceded the most goals this season (30). We back Barnes to deliver a solid performance this week. His current ownership is 2.6%

Richarlison (Everton – Forward – £7.4m) vs CRY (A)

Richarlison has missed a lot of games due to injuries this season, however, the Brazilian has shown glimpses of his quality in the limited game-time he has under his belt at Everton. In 10 appearances (9 starts) this season, he has 3 goals,3 assists, 17 goal attempts, 11 shots inside the box, 4 big chances, and 43 penalty area touches.

His recent form has improved a lot, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist in his last two matches. He also has penalties in his locker, which is quite important too. Palace have lost their last 3 matches and Richarlison can return against a struggling Palace side. His ownership is 4.2%

*Ownership percentage is as of December 08, 2021, at the time of writing the article.
