Blank Gameweek 30 is almost around the corner with 12 teams blanking and only 8 teams having a fixture. The player pool to choose from is significantly less, thus, reducing the chances of a good rise in ranks. Thus, in this article, we bring you 3 differential players that can help you navigate the blank Gameweek and help you gain an advantage over your rivals. These players have low ownership, good underlying stats, and a decent fixture.

Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal – Midfielder – £5.3m) vs AVL (A)

Arsenal have been impressive this season, currently occupying the 4th spot in the Premier League. Martinelli has been excellent for Arsenal having scored 5 goals and 4 assists this season. He has also scored and assisted once in the last 2 games.

In 19 appearances (15 starts), Martinelli has 36 goal attempts, 31 shots from inside the box, 8 big chances, and 10 shots on target. He also put up an incredible performance against Liverpool in Gameweek 29. Arsenal are on a winning streak having won their last 5 matches in a row and we back Martinelli to turn up and return against Aston Villa. His current ownership is 3.7%.

Harvey Barnes (Leicester – Midfielder – £6.5m) vs BRE (H)

Harvey Barnes has been in excellent form, scoring and assisting twice in his last 4 starts. During this run, he has 16 goal attempts, 12 shots inside the box, and 6 shots on target. He has also created 4 chances and 1 big chance.

There is always a concern about rotation with Harvey Barnes, however, he has played 90 minutes in 4 of the last 5 matches for the foxes. He plays against a defensively poor Brentford side who have conceded 45 goals (15th) this season. We back Barnes to deliver a solid performance this week. His current ownership is 3.8%.

Christian Eriksen (Brentford – Midfielder – £5.5m) vs LEI (A)

Christian Eriksen has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Brentford ended their 7 match losing streak and won their last 2 matches where Eriksen has started. He also assisted a goal against Burnley.

Leicester has been struggling defensively this season having conceded 45 goals, making them the 6th highest-ranked team for goals conceded. Leicester have also conceded most goals from set-pieces. Eriksen will be on all set-pieces and will be a huge threat against a weak Leicester defense. His ownership is 0.5%

*Ownership percentage is as of March 17, 2022, at the time of writing the article.
