With Covid positives coming in some teams and one postponement already, we await the GW17 deadline in the hope of some more news. In the last few weeks, the template changed a bit with many going for Ronaldo but with the postponement for United, a lot of transfers will be flying in for the template players, and thus gaining rank can be a huge task. In this article, we bring you 3 differential picks that can help you boost your rank.

Ait Nouri (Wolves – Defender – £4.3m) vs BHA (A)

Wolves are sitting 9th in the Premier League table having conceded just 14 goals in 16 matches. They restricted the two of the best attacks in the Premier league to just 1 goal in the last 2 GWs. Wolves face Brighton who are ranked 20th for xG – 1.12 in the last 4 GWs.

Ait Nouri has established his place in the first eleven and now has started the last 8 matches for Wolves, having assisted once and keeping 5 clean sheets. He is also averaging 5.13 points per match and with ownership of just 0.5%, the prospect of attacking returns along with a clean sheet is very much possible.

Kieran Tierney (Arsenal – Defender – £4.7m) vs WHU (H)

Arsenal had a poor start to this season but they quickly turned that around and now they are 6th in the Premier League table. They have been scoring goals almost every match but conceding too. Tierney in particular has been solid for Arsenal since his return in the last 2 GWs.

Tierney has kept 2 clean sheets and gave 2 assists in the last 2 GWs. He also created 2 chances and had 4 pen area touches during that run. He faces a tough Wesh Ham side but we back Tierney to deliver a solid performance this week. His current ownership is 4.5%

Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea – Forward – £11.5m) vs EVE (H)

The top priority signing for Chelsea in the last transfer window hasn’t performed up to his standards. Before getting an injury in GW8, he scored 3 goals in 7 matches for his team. He has been getting minutes as a substitute from the last 4 GWs and now looks good to start in the upcoming fixtures.

Lukaku is a proven goalscorer and can easily haul in any given match. He faces a defensively poor Everton side who have conceded the 4th highest goals this season and are ranked 18th for xGC (expected goal conceded) in the last 6 GWs. With Lukaku regaining to full fitness, he will be hungrier for goals and we back him to return. His ownership is 9.5%

*Ownership percentage is as of December 14, 2021, at the time of writing the article.
